We are pleased to announce the publication of the TRANScenDANCE Scientific Literature, a research document dedicated to promoting inclusivity and well-being within cultural environments and beyond. This resource offers an insightful perspective on the complexities faced by the LGBTQIA+ community, with a particular emphasis on transgender individuals, especially in the cultural sector.

This document provides a comprehensive overview of the current situation in Europe, helping to develop tools that can support the work of organizations striving for greater inclusion and acceptance. It emerges from the collective experience of the TRANScenDANCE project partners, who have been working closely with LGBTQIA+ communities in cultural settings for years.

TRANScenDANCE is a European Erasmus+ Project (KA2 Adult Education) initiated by a consortium of five organizations: NEXUS (Italy), Gamma Genesis (Romania), LaJoven (Spain), BAZAART (Serbia), and Cie Essevesse (France) as the coordinating partner. The project’s main objective is to create inclusive and safe environments for transgender individuals, fostering self-expression through art, dance, performing arts, theater, and movement.

• Enhancing skills and competencies for art trainers.
